Aladdins began in 1998 when four brothers purchased their first shop in Hounslow. What started as a single family business has grown into one of the area's most recognisable independent food businesses that is built on hard work, family values, and a commitment to serving great food.
The Aladdins Timeline
Over 25 years of growth — and we're just getting started.
Four brothers take a leap of faith and open the very first Aladdins shop on Kingsley Road, Hounslow. With no investors and no safety net — just family, long hours and a belief in doing things properly — a local institution is born.
After more than a decade of loyal, growing custom, we expanded into the neighbouring premises — increasing our seating fivefold and transforming a small takeaway into a proper family destination where the community could sit, eat and belong.
Hounslow was changing, and so were we. We reworked and expanded our menu to reflect new tastes and the diverse needs of our community — without ever compromising on the quality and halal standards our name was built on.
Covid arrived and the real challenge began — for us and for the whole world. We stayed patient, held firm to our values, and through the hardest period in our history we managed to keep our doors open and keep serving the community that had always supported us.
Out of adversity came ambition. We emerged with a major rebrand — a bold new look for a new era — and launched our franchise programme, opening the door for others to build on the foundations we'd spent two decades laying.
A proud family moment: the very first Aladdins franchise opened its doors, taking our proven concept beyond its original home for the first time while staying true to the values and standards that made it work.
Launched on TikTok and Instagram, generating over 20 million views and 300k+ likes across all platforms to date. Bringing a 27-year Hounslow institution to a whole new generation.
More Than Food
Aladdins has always been deeply connected to the Hounslow community. We have sponsored local sports teams, supported community initiatives, fed the hardworking community, and served as the afterschool treat for generations of local families.
Many of the children who grew up visiting Aladdins now bring their own children through our doors.
